Sometimes it's just plain hard being human. We all can use a little help. The point of psychotherapy is to provide you that help so you can have what you want in your life.
I begin every psychotherapy by listening to your concerns. We will identify together any feelings or actions that take you away from living your life fully. Rather than telling my clients what they "should" or "should not" be doing or feeling, I offer a safe space where you can determine what truly is right for you. Together, we will find the best ways for you to achieve your goals.
I practice psychotherapy from a humanistic base of self psychology and cultural-relational perspectives. I believe that healthy needs direct all behavior. I also believe that healthy connections form the basis for all growth and healing.
